President's Message
BENVENUTO / WELCOME TO CIBPA WINDSOR

Dear Members and Visitors, My name is Giuseppe (Joe) Balsamo, and I am honoured to serve as President of CIBPA Windsor for the 2026/27 year. I am excited about the year ahead and the opportunity to build upon the incredible work of this organization. My vision is to continue growing CIBPA Windsor into a recognized symbol throughout the Windsor-Essex community—an organization known for its strong community involvement, commitment to philanthropy, and dedication to keeping our Italian heritage at the forefront. At CIBPA Windsor, we remain focused on our three pillars:
Our goal is to build connections and foster meaningful business relationships among CIBPA members. By coming together, we can create new opportunities, support one another, and strengthen the local business community.
Education and community are at the heart of everything we do. Each year, CIBPA Windsor provides thousands of dollars in scholarships and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities and organizations throughout our community. Our commitment to giving back is one of the most meaningful ways we can make a lasting difference in the lives of others. We will continue to support the people and organizations that make Windsor-Essex such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.
We are Canadian-grown with proud Italian roots, and we celebrate that heritage. We are committed to preserving and promoting our Italian culture while continuing to build a positive and respected image of the Italian-Canadian business community throughout Windsor-Essex. Our heritage is an important part of who we are, but it is also something we can share with the broader community. Through our traditions, values, accomplishments, and community involvement, we have an opportunity to ensure that our Italian roots remain strong for generations to come. With a clear focus on these three pillars, and by working together as a unified association, I am confident that we can accomplish great things.
As Enzo Ferrari once said: “I believe factories are made of machines, walls and people. Ferrari is made most of all by people.”
Those words resonate deeply with my vision for CIBPA Windsor. Our association is more than a name, a building, or a collection of events. CIBPA Windsor is made by its people—our members, volunteers, supporters, business leaders, families, and community partners. It is through the passion, commitment, and dedication of our people that we can strengthen our business community, give back through philanthropy, and proudly celebrate our Italian heritage. Together, we are the driving force behind CIBPA Windsor. And just as Ferrari's greatest achievements were built by the people behind the machines, our greatest achievements will be built by the people who make up CIBPA Windsor. I look forward to working alongside each of you throughout the year ahead. With unity, purpose, and pride in who we are, I believe the future of CIBPA Windsor is incredibly bright.
